The Roadsafe Coil Drop Out Cone Kit is the simple bolt-in solution to the long-standing issue of coils becoming loose and failing to reseat properly during articulation and down travel. This problem, often encountered when using long-travel shocks, can cause coils to fall out of position, especially while off-roading.
The Roadsafe Drop Out Cones are designed to fit snugly under the coil hats, allowing the coil to drop an additional 3.75” before it falls out. When combined with Roadsafe Coil Retainers (which secure the base of the coil to the diff), this setup enables you to use a longer shock—approximately 3.75” longer—without the risk of the coil falling out of place. The Drop Out Cones also help guide the coil back into its correct seating position during compression.
