The Roadsafe range of synthetic ropes is Australian-made and constructed from 100% 12-plait UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) fibre with a polyurethane coating. These ropes feature a melting point of 150°C, a specific gravity of 0.97 (allowing them to float), negative water absorption, and excellent UV resistance. The rope is easy to splice, non-kinking, and non-rotational. It offers superior abrasion resistance, low elongation, and an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio, with overall strength comparable to steel. Each rope is supplied with a bright-covered soft eye splice, ensuring high visibility and protecting the splice.
